LIFT started from an idea that came to Kristin, the administrative leader, during the summer of 2022 when Kristin was spending a lot of time serving in a youth ministry. Kristin felt that God was calling her to provide a safe space for High School students to grow in their faith with other students their ages from around the cities. Kristin alone prayed and talked with God about this idea for months before bringing the idea to her good friends. Of course they all were ecstatic about the idea and all of them immediately began planning for the summer. LIFT, which was originally named Fishers of Faith named after the bible verse Matthew 4:19, stands for '“Live In Faith Together” the name symbolizes our mission to bring High Schoolers together to live in faith together. On June 6th 2023, LIFT was kicked off leading to the best first summer of this program.
